The new Ford Puma to come in 2020, will be a small Crossover vehicle. The new Ford Puma gets a Ford EcoBoost-Mild Hybrid drive with a 48-Volt technology. A belt-driven Starter Generator (Belt replaced-driven Integrated Starter Generator BISG) the conventional alternator.
The BISG recuperating kinetic energy, which otherwise, as a friction on the brakes, unused, lost, and fed to an air-cooled, 48-Volt-Lithium-ion-battery. The BISG is integrated in the auxiliary beach and supports the 1.0-Liter EcoBoost three-cylinder at lower speeds, as an electric motor with additional torque.
